Multi-Layer Fuel Security

The system prevent Unauthorized by ensuring that fuel cannot be dispensed when:

  • The vehicle is not registered in the system
  • The vehicle does not have a valid sensor
  • The selected vehicle does not match the detected vehicle
  • The attendant is not authorized
  • Fueling limits have been exceeded
  • Someone attempts to fuel a personal vehicle or fuel container

How the Solution Works

1. Vehicle Identification

A specialized vehicle sensor is installed at the fuel tank opening of every authorized vehicle. Each sensor carries a unique identity that is linked to the vehicle record within the Fuel Island Control system.

2. User Authentication

Before fueling can begin, the attendant must authenticate themselves using a PIN, RFID card, tag, or other approved method. Users also have custom rights and access to vehicles

3. Vehicle Selection

The attendant selects the vehicle to be fueled from the list of authorized vehicles registered in the system. This means the system also must have an updated inventory of the vehicles to be fueled.

4. Nozzle Verification

A nozzle-mounted reader (Nozzle Pack) detects and reads the vehicle sensor when the fuel nozzle is brought close to the fuel tank. If the vehicle is not identified because its not in the system the nozzle cant dispense fuel

5. Real-Time Validation

The system validates that The vehicle exists in the FIC database, The vehicle has a registered sensor, The detected vehicle matches the selected vehicle, The user is authorized to fuel that vehicle, The fueling limits and rules are satisfied

6. Vehicle is Fuelled

Only after all validation checks pass will the pump be authorized to dispense fuel. The system immediately updates the record of the vehicle, user, amount, time and location in our cloud system. You have the date in real-time
